Privacy policy

This policy applies to huskybookkeeping.netlify.app (and any custom domain it moves to), operated by Husky Business Solutions LLC, dba Husky Bookkeeping (“Husky Bookkeeping,” “we,” “us”). It does not cover any client portal, accounting software, or other service we may use once you are a client — those are covered by the terms of that software provider and any engagement letter you sign with us directly.

Information you give us. If you submit the contact form on the “Who we are” page, we collect your name, business name (if provided), the email or phone number you give us, what you're looking for, and anything you write in the message field. We use this only to reply to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to set up your engagement.

Basic site analytics. We use Netlify Analytics, which measures traffic from server logs rather than a script running in your browser. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an individual profile of you — it gives us aggregate numbers like how many people visited a page. See Netlify's privacy policy for how they handle this at the infrastructure level.

What we don't do. We don't run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics scripts, and we don't use cookies for tracking or marketing. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and add a cookie consent banner before turning anything like that on.

• To respond to your discovery-meeting request or question.
• To set up and administer your bookkeeping engagement, if you become a client.
• To understand, in aggregate, how people use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and respond to inquiries:

• Netlify — hosts the site, processes contact-form submissions (Netlify Forms), and provides the traffic analytics described above.

Once you're a client, your financial records are handled through whatever bookkeeping software we agree to use together (for example QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave) under that provider's own terms — never through this website.

We don't share your information with data brokers or advertisers, and we only disclose it beyond the above if required by law.

We keep contact-form submissions as long as reasonably useful for following up with you — generally no more than a couple of years if nothing further develops. If you become a client, records tied to your engagement are kept in line with standard bookkeeping and tax-recordkeeping practice, and any engagement letter you sign will say more.

You can ask us, at any time, what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to anything we're required to keep for legal or recordkeeping reasons). Email interest@huskybooks.com or call (301) 569-2456 and we'll take care of it.

This site is a business-to-business marketing site and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted here for at least one visit cycle before taking effect.
